little yukata WS & “Ma” Exhibition 【Overseas: European Capital of Culture Umeå 2014, Sweden】
European Capital of Culture Umea 2014
Workshop “little yukata
Exhibition “Ma” at folkuniversitetet
An art project realized through meetings with Always on a Sunday (Anita Midvillar, Anne-Marie Simonson, Elsa Bengtsson, Lundman Lane, Eva Johansson) and Japanese members (Yoshiko Fujii, Sawako Tanizawa, Yoshi Fushikino, Azusa Iio, Akiko Hita).
In addition to the exhibition implementation, I was in charge of workshop content creation, poster design, and coordination of the Japanese side of the project.
Always on a Sunday is an art group composed of women with diverse professional backgrounds. They include artists who have taught at Umeå University, doctors, and therapists. They visited us at our studio/log house during their visit to Japan.
